Hook(2021)

Hook is a Russian series following Nikita Kryukov, a former professional hockey player turned sports agent. Driven by his maximalist ideals and belief in fair play, Kryukov navigates the cutthroat world of player representation, fiercely protecting his clients through unconventional means and solving problems both on and off the ice. Yet as he devotes himself to advancing their careers, his own personal life deteriorates, leaving him struggling with demons he can't simply negotiate away. The series balances Kryukov's professional victories against his deepening isolation, exploring the cost of putting everyone else's needs before your own.
