The Bionic Life(2023)

The Bionic Life is a science fiction series set in 2035, when humanoid robots have become nearly indistinguishable from humans, sparking widespread public alarm. Members of the "Mingmou" organization—the level-headed Cheng Nuo and the empathetic An Qiu—investigate a series of murders targeting these androids. As they dig deeper into the crimes, the line between human and robot consciousness grows increasingly blurred. The investigation forces both protagonists to confront uncomfortable truths about identity, morality, and what it means to be alive. The fates of humans and humanoid robots are quietly being rewritten by forces neither side fully understands.
