Black Wedding(2021)

Black Wedding is a Serbian thriller series that follows Petar, a BIA operative, as he investigates a village massacre that kills twelve people. The shooter survives an apparent suicide, and his final word—"katabaza"—matches the last words Petar's son spoke before his own death years earlier. Petar becomes obsessed with uncovering a connection between the two deaths, convinced something supernatural or conspiratorial lies beneath the surface. Psychologist Natasha joins the investigation, but she takes a skeptical approach, attributing events to rational explanations rather than mystery. As Petar digs deeper, the line between grief-driven obsession and genuine truth blurs, creating tension between his intuition and Natasha's logic. The series explores trauma, loss, and the dangerous allure of pattern-seeking when confronted with inexplicable violence.
