The show balances absurdist humor with fish-out-of-water culture shock as the freewheeling characters grapple with smartphones, social media, and a San Francisco transformed beyond recognition. Their anti-establishment ethos clashes hilariously with contemporary life, creating comedy from generational disconnect and the surreal gap between the Summer of Love and today.
