The Rebel is a western television series that follows a former Confederate Army private drifting through the post-Civil War frontier. Nick Adams stars in this 76-episode ABC series, which aired from 1959 to 1961 and became one of the rare dramatic ventures from prolific game-show producer Goodson-Todman Productions. The Rebel captures the moral ambiguity of its era, presenting a protagonist caught between his past and an uncertain future, helping those in need while wrestling with his own demons.
