Jikuu Tantei Oyu is a Japanese series following Yuka Sekiguchi, a real estate worker who inherits her grandmother's house. While searching for a hidden closet, Yuka accidentally slips through time and lands in Edo-period Japan. There she meets Ukai Denzaburo, a police officer at Minamichi Station whose weak investigative instincts lead him to seek her help solving murders. Stranded in the past, Yuka must use her modern perspective to assist Denzaburo in unraveling crimes while navigating the unfamiliar world of feudal Japan. The series blends mystery and time-travel elements as Yuka becomes an unlikely detective partner, applying contemporary logic to historical cases.
