Between Us Girls(2015)

Between Us Girls is a Russian drama series following three generations of women in the provincial town of Tetyushev. Olesya, a 21-year-old art student, lives with her mother Elena, who heads the supply department at a local construction company, and her grandmother Iraida Stepanovna, a 65-year-old performer of romances and folk songs. The series explores the dynamics, conflicts, and bonds within the Kuznetsov-Sayko household as these women navigate their separate ambitions and shared history. Their lives intersect across different stages of adulthood, revealing how family ties both constrain and sustain them in a small Russian town where tradition and modernity collide.
