Unsung Hero(2022)

Unsung Hero is a war drama set in 1941, at the outbreak of the Soviet Union's Great Patriotic War. Alexander Mazover, a military officer, is tasked with training dogs to attack enemy tanks in suicide missions. When initial attempts fail and he clashes with his superiors, Mazover discovers Julbars, a remarkable dog whose handler Dina has successfully trained him to destroy German tanks and survive. Recognizing Julbars's unique abilities, Mazover adopts the dog's behavioral methods to train other canine soldiers, ultimately developing techniques that preserve lives on both sides of the conflict. Based on true events, the film chronicles an unconventional wartime program and the bond between soldier and animal that changed military strategy.
