Love and Hatred(2004)

Love and Hatred is a Japanese drama series that explores the devastating consequences of betrayal and revenge. Kyoko, a nurse, discovers her husband Toyoki's infidelity and takes drastic action—kidnapping the baby born to Toyoki and his girlfriend Tokiko. Renaming the child Botan, Kyoko raises her in secret while the heartbroken couple struggles to move forward. The following year, Tokiko gives birth to another daughter, Kayo, and the family attempts to rebuild their lives and bury their trauma. As the two girls grow up in complete ignorance of each other's existence, their parallel lives set the stage for an inevitable collision.
