Fireflies(2004)

Fireflies is an Australian television series that follows a group of volunteer firefighters in the fictional country town of Lost River during the hottest, driest summer in decades. The show aired on the ABC in Australia and RTÉ One in Ireland, running for 22 episodes from February 2004. Set in a town of just 487 residents, the series captures the tension and camaraderie of ordinary people facing extraordinary circumstances as they battle the elements and protect their community. Paul Kelly wrote and performed the theme song "Beautiful Feeling." Fireflies balances drama with character-driven storytelling, exploring how crisis brings a small community together.
