Bless Me Father(1978)

Bless Me Father is a British sitcom that aired on ITV from 1978 to 1981, following the misadventures of Father Charles Duddleswell and his young curate Neil Boyd at the fictional parish of St. Jude's in suburban London. Set in 1950–1951, the series stars Arthur Lowe as the irascible Irish priest, marking a notable shift from his middle-class roles in shows like Dad's Army. The ensemble cast includes Daniel Abineri, Gabrielle Daye, and David Ryall as the colorful parishioners—among them Mrs Pring the housekeeper, the hard-drinking Dr Daley, and the irreligious neighbour Billy Buzzle.
