Unknown Sender(2008)

Unknown Sender is an American web series that premiered in August 2008 on Strike.TV, a platform launched by Hollywood writers during the 2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike. Created with support from the Screen Actors Guild, the series assembled an impressive cast including Timothy Dalton, Joanne Whalley, Mindy Sterling, and comedian Jay Davis, all of whom donated their profits to the Actors' Fund charity. Behind the scenes, the production drew on significant talent: Academy Award nominee Marilyn Vance and pioneering web filmmaker Kevin Rubio produced the series, while Lost's cinematographer Edward J. Pei oversaw photography, composer Adam Cohen handled the score, and special effects supervisor Shant Jordan managed visual effects. Unknown Sender stands as a notable example of creative work produced during the industry strike.
