Pandora's Fruit(2022)

Pandora's Fruit is a Japanese crime series following Kohiruimaki Yuichi, a police officer who establishes the Science Crime Countermeasures Office to tackle crimes involving cutting-edge technology and scientific innovation. He partners with Mogami Yukiko, a brilliant scientist brought on as an advisor, to investigate cases that outpace traditional law enforcement methods. Together they decode the scientific principles underlying each crime rather than relying on conventional forensics. Hasebe Tsutomu, a seasoned detective from the Investigation Division, joins the team despite his limited technical background. As the trio confronts increasingly complex cases at the intersection of science and crime, they must bridge the gap between laboratory theory and street-level detective work to stay ahead of a criminal landscape transformed by technological advancement.
