Recipe for Farewell is a South Korean drama series based on the true story of writer Kang Chang-rae. When Da-jung, a working mother, is diagnosed with colorectal cancer, she gradually loses her ability to eat. Her husband Chang-wook, who has never cooked, takes on an unexpected role: learning to prepare nourishing meals to support her through illness. Armed with carefully selected ingredients and determination, he develops healthy recipes designed to sustain his wife. Though clumsy in the kitchen at first, Chang-wook discovers profound meaning in the simple act of cooking and sharing meals with his family.
