Choukou Senshi Changerion(1996)

Choukou Senshi Changerion is a Japanese tokusatsu series about an alien invasion from the Dark Dimension. The DarkZide, a dying extraterrestrial race, arrive on Earth to harvest human life-energy called Larmu for their survival. To combat the threat, government official Takeshi Munakata forms S.A.I.D.O.C, a secret organization tasked with stopping the invaders. The group develops Crystal Power to fuel the Changérion project—a transformative weapon designed to fight back. When the power accidentally transfers into detective Akira Suzumura's body, he becomes an unlikely hero forced to master his new abilities and defend humanity against the DarkZide's relentless assault.
