Happiness is a comedy series following Danny Spencer, a voice artist navigating a mid-life crisis after a recent bereavement. While lending his voice to a kung fu bear, Danny juggles a chaotic circle of friends: a high school sweetheart, two perpetually unemployed slackers, a fifty-something who refuses to act his age, and a pair of dance music–obsessed students who work alongside him at the voice studio. As Danny approaches forty, the weight of lost youth and mounting life pressures threatens to unravel his already fragile grip on adulthood. The show balances dark humour with genuine emotional stakes, exploring how friendship and work become anchors when personal life feels adrift.
