Lion-Man(1973)

Lion-Man is a 1973 Japanese tokusatsu series featuring a ninja warrior hero battling evil across storm-swept landscapes. The second installment in the Lion-Maru trilogy, it introduces Black Jaguar alongside the titular Rolling Tempest Ninja Warrior. Originally broadcast in Japan, the series remained largely obscure internationally until 1989, when it found an unexpected audience in Brazil under the title Lion Man. That Brazilian run marked the only significant international distribution of the show's 25 episodes, making it a cult curiosity for tokusatsu fans and a fascinating footnote in 1970s Japanese action television.
