Kinvig(1981)

Kinvig is a British sci-fi comedy from 1981 that follows Des Kinvig, an ineffectual dreamer who runs a shabby electrical repair shop in the small town of Bingleton. Living with his scatterbrained wife Netta and their oversized dog Cuddly, Des's mundane life takes a surreal turn when a beautiful woman named Miss Griffin walks into his shop.
