Sarah Kuttner – Die Show(2004)

Sarah Kuttner – Die Show was a German talk show that aired on VIVA from 2004 before moving to MTV in 2005 under the shortened title Kuttner. Hosted by Sarah Kuttner with sidekick Sven Schuhmacher, the program brought a youthful energy to the late-night format, mixing celebrity interviews with comedic field reports from correspondents Michael Wigge and Caroline Korneli. Live musical performances and an in-house band rounded out each episode. When MTV acquired VIVA in 2004, fan outcry prevented immediate cancellation, though the show was reduced from four weekly episodes to two and eventually relocated from Cologne to Berlin. MTV ultimately cancelled Kuttner in summer 2006, citing low ratings and mounting production costs.
