Unmei Police is a Japanese series set in a supernatural bureaucracy where the dead monitor the living. Agent Codename Seven and his superior Zero work for the Destiny Police, an organization tasked with ensuring that fate runs its predetermined course. In their world, altering anyone's destiny is forbidden. When Nagano, a cleaner with dreams of becoming an actress, begins to deviate from her predetermined path, the agents must decide whether to enforce the rules or let her pursue her ambitions. The series blends dark comedy with philosophical questions about free will, duty, and the price of breaking fate's iron grip.
