Four Lies is a Japanese drama series following four women navigating their forties. Shifumi, a charismatic woman who famously stole her high school sweetheart from classmate Miwa, has since divorced and now dates a younger man. Her three former classmates—housewife Makiko, ambitious doctor Neri, and homemaker Miwa—find their lives entangled when Miwa begins an affair with Shifumi's ex-husband Keishi, the very man Shifumi once took from her. As old resentments resurface and hidden desires clash, the women's carefully constructed lives unravel. Secrets long buried threaten to destroy their marriages, careers, and friendships as the truth about each woman's choices comes crashing down. Four Lies explores how the lies we tell ourselves and others catch up with us, no matter how much time has passed.
