Wives Make the World Go Round(2007)

Wives Make the World Go Round is a Japanese comedy series following Tachibana Makoto, a driven manager of an omusubi cafe who marries Sanshiro, a paper company secretary, after just six months of dating. When she meets his family, Makoto finds herself locked in an escalating clash with her mother-in-law—a traditional housewife who embodies everything the career-focused Makoto rejects. Their conflict cuts deeper than household disagreements; it's a battle of values and pride between two women with fundamentally different visions of what it means to be a wife.
