The Sound of Musicals(2006)

The Sound of Musicals is a 2006 BBC series that celebrates musical theatre through performance and conversation. Each of four weekly episodes features a rotating cast of stage actors and professional singers performing iconic numbers from beloved musicals, joined by a celebrity guest host who shares their own favourite pieces. The series also includes interviews with major figures in musical theatre, including composer Andrew Lloyd Webber and producer Cameron Mackintosh. Originally broadcast starting January 14, 2006, the show offers an intimate look at the artistry and personalities behind some of theatre's most memorable moments.
