Not A Murder Story(2024)

Not A Murder Story is a Thai series that follows Dong, a struggling actor who wakes up next to a dead woman, Meng, with no memory of the previous night. Rather than report the incident, he stages the scene to look like a botched robbery, inadvertently leaving clues behind. When police investigate the apartment building, they uncover a web of secrets among the residents: a quarrelsome foreign caretaker, a voyeuristic massage shop worker, a landlord hiding domestic abuse, a fractured family masking dysfunction, and a debt-ridden publishing house owner. As detectives piece together Meng's death, each resident emerges as a potential suspect with hidden motives and dark pasts. The series weaves together mystery and character study, peeling back layers of deception to reveal how desperation and hidden shame can implicate anyone in a crime.
