Keishichou Outsider is a Japanese detective series following Kagawa Eiji, a gruff investigator demoted from the Metropolitan Police Department to a small precinct without explanation. Desperate to uncover why, he partners with Detective Hasumi Kosuke, who harbors a dangerous secret of his own. When a housekeeper is murdered at a professor's home, rookie detective Mizuki Nao—daughter of a high-ranking police official—joins the team. Her arrival complicates matters as Kagawa and Hasumi navigate the case while managing departmental politics and hidden agendas. The series explores how three detectives with conflicting loyalties and buried secrets must work together to solve crimes while pursuing their own hidden truths within a corrupt system.
