Servant of the People(2023)

Servant of the People is a Polish comedy series following Ignacy Konieczny, a high school teacher whose viral rant against government corruption catapults him to national fame. Elected president on a wave of public support, he refuses the trappings of office and insists on living modestly, creating chaos as he attempts to govern with integrity. The series balances political satire with everyday absurdity as Konieczny navigates the gap between his idealistic principles and the messy realities of power. An adaptation of the Ukrainian original, the show explores what happens when an ordinary person actually tries to change the system from within.
