Librarian is a Russian fantasy series following Alexey Vyazintsev, a struggling actor who returns to his father's hometown to sell an apartment—only to discover his father was murdered. In Shironino, Alexey uncovers a hidden world where books by a forgotten Soviet writer possess supernatural powers: Rage, Patience, Power, Joy, Strength, and Memory. Competing factions called Libraries hunt these volumes across the country, willing to kill for their magical properties. Drawn into this dangerous underworld, Alexey must join one of the Libraries, unravel his family's dark past, and search for the most coveted book of all—the Book of Meaning.
