Společník(2003)

Společník is a Czech comedy following Mikuláš Mysliveček, a music teacher struggling to make ends meet. Between his modest salary, his demanding fiancée Simona's marriage ultimatum, caring for his eccentric father in a retirement home, and the chaos caused by his large dog, Mikuláš is stretched thin. When his bartender friend Viktor suggests he earn extra money as a paid companion—entertaining lonely women through an agency—the shy teacher reluctantly agrees. His first assignment introduces him to Jiřina Suková, a charming divorced engineer and bank director with a young son. What begins as a simple business arrangement becomes complicated as genuine feelings develop, forcing Mikuláš to navigate conflicting loyalties and unexpected romance.
