Hotel(2016)

Hotel is a South African comedy series set in the struggling Fransen Hotel, located in the small town of Fransenburg in Mpumalanga. Once a source of pride for the community, the establishment has fallen into disrepair and now barely earns a one-star rating on Trip Advisor. Manager Ferdie Kruger and his ragtag staff battle daily to keep the doors open despite crumbling infrastructure, dwindling guests, and mounting challenges. The show follows their comedic misadventures as they attempt to salvage the hotel's reputation and their own livelihoods in a town where opportunity is scarce and ambition often outpaces reality.
