Itxaso(2023)

Itxaso follows a 17-year-old girl uprooted from Mexico to a Basque coastal village after her mother's death. There she meets her estranged father Mikel, a former surf champion who now runs a small school. Forced to rebuild their relationship from scratch, Itxaso and Mikel must navigate their profound differences and learn to live together. The series captures the friction and eventual understanding between two strangers bound by blood, set against the backdrop of Spain's rugged northern coast. As Itxaso adjusts to her new life, both she and her father discover what family truly means.
