Oshi wo Meshiagare: Koho Girl no Maroyakana Hibi is a Japanese comedy series following Yuzu Hodaishi, a job-seeker who becomes obsessed with a novel about yoghurt and its featured bacteria, lactobacillus bulgaricus. When she finally lands work at a food company, she's transferred to the PR department at the Osaka headquarters—where an invisible lactobacillus companion follows her every move. Struggling to adjust to her new city and unfamiliar role, Yuzu is tasked with creating a magazine feature for Meiwa Yogurt's 50th anniversary. The series blends quirky fantasy with workplace comedy as she navigates office politics, her seasoned senior Itsumi Midori, and the surreal presence of her microscopic fan. Adapted from Miyagi Ayako's novel, the show captures the absurdist humour of everyday corporate life with a supernatural twist.
