Cat-astrophe(2023)

Cat-astrophe is a Russian comedy series following the Myagkov family after they're forced to downsize into an old apartment. They discover the space already has a resident: a cantankerous ginger cat determined to make their lives miserable. When attempts to evict the feline troublemaker repeatedly backfire, patriarch Mikhail suffers an electrical accident that grants him an unexpected ability—he can now hear and understand the cat's thoughts. With this newfound power, the family decides to keep their furry nemesis instead. What follows is a heartwarming exploration of coexistence as an ordinary Moscow household learns to navigate life with their reluctant new roommate, discovering that sometimes the most unlikely relationships transform us in surprising ways.
