This Is Piki(2016)

This Is Piki is a Māori drama series produced by and starring Cliff Curtis, alongside Temuera Morrison, best known for his role in Once Were Warriors. The show centers Māori language and storytelling, offering indigenous voices the platform to explore their own cultures, identities, and histories. Tia Maipi, who starred in Born to Dance, leads the ensemble cast alongside experienced Māori and Polynesian actors including Calvin Tuteao from The Last Saint.
