Speaking of Butterflies is a Russian romantic comedy series following Nastya Gracheva, a psychologist whose engagement falls apart, leaving her skeptical of love. Determined to prove her worth to colleagues, she devises an audacious experiment: she'll marry for love using the scientific method. Her search leads her to Tema Maslov, a zoopsychologist at her institute. Nastya proposes they test her theory together—deliberately falling in love under controlled conditions to unlock the formula of love itself and spare humanity from heartbreak. What begins as a rational pursuit becomes increasingly complicated as genuine feelings threaten to upend her carefully calculated plan. The series balances sharp wit with genuine emotion as Nastya discovers that the human heart resists equations.
