Highcliffe Manor(1979)

Highcliffe Manor is a comedy series following Helen Blacke, a newly widowed woman who inherits the Blacke Foundation, a scientific research institute housed in a sprawling manor on an island off the Massachusetts coast. Helen quickly discovers that the eccentric team of researchers running the facility—a collection of brilliant but unstable scientists—are determined to force her out. As she navigates the chaos of her inheritance, Helen must contend with bizarre experiments, sabotage, and the unpredictable personalities of her staff.
