Geeks: Weirdo's on the Case is a Japanese drama following Yui Saizo, a 29-year-old forensics examiner at Takanashi Police Station. Sharp-minded and efficient, Yui relies on her exceptional memory and analytical skills to solve crimes while rejecting the station's outdated traditions. She shares weekly Friday nights at a local izakaya with two close colleagues: Masumi Kira, a physician, and Iori Motoyama, a traffic officer. When the trio overhears detectives struggling with an unsolved case, they begin pooling their distinct expertise to crack difficult investigations. What starts as casual Friday-night conversation evolves into an unofficial detective partnership, as the three women use their professional knowledge and sharp instincts to solve cases the police department cannot.
