The Weber Show is an American sitcom that aired on NBC from 2000 to 2001, starring Steven Weber, Amy Pietz, Wendell Pierce, and Chris Elliott. Originally titled Cursed, the series underwent a dramatic mid-season overhaul after failing to connect with viewers. The initial premise centered on Weber's character battling constant bad luck stemming from an ex-girlfriend's curse. When ratings lagged, the show abandoned this concept entirely and pivoted to a traditional sitcom format, complete with a new name. Despite the creative reset, The Weber Show continued to struggle and was canceled after one season, ending on an unresolved cliffhanger. Liz Phair wrote and performed the show's theme song.
