Twenty One(1956)

Twenty One is an American game show that aired in the late 1950s and became one of the most infamous quiz show scandals in television history. The program featured some of the era's most popular contestants but was rigged, a deception that nearly destroyed the entire quiz show genre and triggered U.S. Senate investigations. The 1994 film Quiz Show dramatizes these events. A revival version hosted by Maury Povich aired briefly on NBC in 2000, running for approximately five months before cancellation.
