Train of Thoughts(2025)

Train of Thoughts is a series set in a small Chinese town in 1982, where the train station serves as the emotional heart of the community. Li An-quan, owner of a local photo studio, abandons his wife and two daughters—Wen-xiu and Wen-juan—without explanation. Twelve years later, Wen-xiu works selling lunch boxes on the platform, still haunted by her father's disappearance and searching the faces of strangers for any sign of him. When her childhood friend Wu-xiong unexpectedly returns to town after the same twelve years, his arrival triggers a cascade of events that reshape Wen-xiu's life in unexpected ways. The series explores how ordinary moments at a train station—reunions, farewells, and chance encounters—reveal the extraordinary bonds that hold communities together.
