Minha Doce Namorada(1971)

Minha Doce Namorada is a Brazilian romantic series following Patricia, an orphan raised in a traveling amusement park who believes the stars control her fate. When an astrologer predicts she'll fall in love with a Pisces boy—supposedly incompatible with her Aquarius sign—Patricia becomes captivated by Renato, a wealthy student who doesn't return her feelings. She moves to Rio de Janeiro and befriends a kind gentleman she calls Mr. Pepe, unaware he's Renato's great-uncle and a powerful businessman. As Patricia begins working at his company, Mr. Pepe uncovers fraud within his own family and stages his death to observe the ensuing battle over his inheritance. The series weaves together themes of destiny, class difference, and hidden identities as Patricia's life becomes entangled with the secrets of the family she's unknowingly joined.
