Iron City(2019)

Iron City is a speculative drama series set in 1978 Melbourne, reimagined as a Nazi-ruled metropolis in an alternate history where the Axis Powers won World War II. Under totalitarian control, the city's diverse population—Australians, Italians, and Japanese—face systematic oppression. Tensions simmer as the Nazi regime consolidates power and turns on former allies, fracturing the alliance that once dominated the continent. Against this bleak backdrop, resistance movements begin to organize, challenging the brutal machinery of state control. The series explores themes of tyranny, survival, and the human cost of authoritarian rule through the eyes of those daring to resist.
