Comeback(2025)

Comeback is a Russian drama series set in Nizhniy Novgorod in 2004. A man awakens in a hospital with severe injuries and complete amnesia—he cannot remember his name, identity, or past. Cast adrift on the city streets, he survives by sleeping rough and scrounging for food, yet maintains his dignity despite his desperate circumstances. Local schoolchildren nickname him Kompot after his fondness for the cafeteria drink, where a kind cook offers him meals. When a group of high school friends becomes invested in his plight, they embark on a mission to uncover his true identity and help restore his former life. The series explores themes of human connection, redemption, and resilience as strangers band together to solve the mystery of a forgotten man.
