Men of Affairs(1973)

Men of Affairs is a British comedy series following Barry Ovis, a hapless Parliamentary Private Secretary tasked with covering for his boss, Sir William Mainwaring-Brown, the Minister for European Affairs. When Sir William's active personal life threatens to derail his political career, Ovis finds himself scrambling to manage the fallout—usually with disastrous results. As one misunderstanding piles onto another, Ovis's clumsy attempts at damage control only deepen the chaos.
