Fungus the Bogeyman is a BBC adaptation of Raymond Briggs' beloved children's book. Fungus is a bogeyman whose job is to venture above ground and scare humans—or "dry-cleaners," as his kind calls them. When disaster strikes during one of his missions, a human named Jessica discovers the hidden world of Bogeydom and befriends Fungus's children. She escapes back home and tells her father George everything. Determined to catch a real bogeyman, George stakes out the entrance to their underground realm. The story blends whimsy with gentle adventure as two worlds collide in unexpected ways.
