Daisy de Melker(1993)

Daisy de Melker is a documentary series examining one of South Africa's most notorious poisoning cases. Born in 1886 near Grahamstown, Daisy Louisa de Melker faced trial in 1932 for the murders of her two previous husbands and her son. The court found her guilty only of her son's death, acquitting her in the husbands' cases. On 30 December 1932, she was hanged at Pretoria Central Prison, becoming the second woman executed in South Africa. Throughout her trial and execution, de Melker maintained her innocence and showed no remorse, leaving behind a chilling legacy that continues to fascinate true crime historians and audiences.
