The Cult(2009)

The Cult is a New Zealand drama series following a group determined to rescue their loved ones from a mysterious cult known as Two Gardens. The show aired in the primetime 8:30–9:30 slot on TV2, debuting September 24, 2009, and concluding with a two-hour finale on December 10 that same year. The series found audiences beyond New Zealand, screening in Poland and Portugal in 2011 before reaching Australian television from December 2012. Tense and character-driven, The Cult explores the psychological grip of cult manipulation and the lengths families will go to reclaim those lost to its control.
