Woke Up Dead is a comedy series following Drex Greene, a bewildered zombie determined to uncover the mystery pill that landed him dead in a bathtub. Alongside his aspiring filmmaker roommate Matt and Cassie, a med student with her own agenda, Drex navigates the absurd challenges of undeath while piecing together the circumstances of his drowning. The show blends dark humor with buddy comedy as this mismatched trio investigates what happened, all while Drex struggles with the basic indignities of being a corpse. Part detective story, part supernatural comedy, Woke Up Dead mines laughs from the collision between Drex's determination to solve his own murder and the chaos his two companions bring to the investigation.
