Perversions of Science(1997)

Perversions of Science is a science fiction and horror series that aired on HBO for a single season in 1997. A spin-off of Tales from the Crypt, it adapted stories from EC Comics' Weird Science. The show follows the same anthology format as its predecessor, with a sexualized female robot named Chrome introducing and closing each episode. Most installments explore sci-fi concepts like alien invasions and time travel, often with darkly comedic or unsettling twists. The cast mixed established names—Harvey Korman appeared in the episode "Panic" alongside younger talents Jason Lee and Jamie Kennedy—with emerging performers. Though the series never received an official US DVD release, a Japanese edition emerged in 2001 and has since become a collector's item.
