Song of the Samurai(2026)

Song of the Samurai is a historical drama series set in late-Edo period Kyoto, following the legendary Shinsengumi samurai corps. The story centers on Hijikata Toshizo, a former street fighter who rises through the ranks alongside his sworn brothers Kondo Isami and Okita Soji. As political upheaval threatens their world, the three men face mounting pressures that test their bonds of loyalty and brotherhood. Betrayal lurks at every turn, and warfare looms on the horizon. The series explores what happens when honor collides with survival, and when the codes that bind warriors together begin to fracture under the weight of a changing Japan.
