Master of the Mix(2010)

Master of the Mix is a reality competition series following seven elite disc jockeys as they battle for supremacy. Hosted by Just Blaze and judged by Kid Capri, the show premiered in November 2010 on Centric, featuring competitors like DJ Jazzy Joyce, Rich Medina, DJ Scratch, and DJ Rap—artists with Grammy nominations, platinum albums, and collaborations with major recording acts. Biz Markie appeared regularly as a guest judge. Across eight half-hour episodes, the DJs faced challenges at venues worldwide, with eliminations narrowing the field each week. The winner earned the title "Master of the Mix" plus a $250,000 prize package, including a year-long sponsorship as Smirnoff's official DJ at international events. The series aired Wednesday nights on Centric with Saturday encores on BET, presented by Smirnoff and produced by Ben Silverman's Electus.
